BOOKINGS

I've booked: how do I enter and exit the parking lot?

Approach one of the entry barriers at the airport with your car. Wait for the camera to read and recognize the license plate you entered during booking phase. After a few seconds, the system will AUTOMATICALLY (you don't need to press any buttons) issue a parking ticket with your Booking Code that begins with VRN printed on it (the printing of the Booking Code on the ticket indicates the correct recognition of your reservation; see ticket example). Retrieve the ticket and proceed into the airport roadway.

If, after waiting at least 10 seconds, the ticket is not issued (e.g. due to a dirty license plate not being read by the camera), you can use the intercom assistance button located on the entry barrier, having your booking code printed on the confirmation PDF you received via email ready at hand.

Once inside the airport roadway, follow the signs to your booked parking area. You will need to insert the ticket you retrieved into one or more barriers that mark your destination parking area.

Upon finishing your stay, you'll need to insert the ticket into all exit barriers you encounter to exit the parking lot first and then the airport roadway.

For these reasons, we urge you to carefully keep the ticket you received upon entering the airport roadway.

If your stay exceeds the reserved period, you can use the ticket to pay the difference at the automatic payment machines (accepting cards and cash) or at the manned cash desk (Arrivals Terminal) but only with credit/debt cards. If you are unsure whether you have exceeded the booked parking period, you can insert the ticket into one of the automatic machines to verify the amount due: if it shows €0, it means you are still within the reserved period and have 15 minutes to exit (for Park Low Cost only: 25 minutes).

How can I cancel or modify the reservation?

In the "Manage Reservations" section of the website parcheggi.aeroportoverona.it, you can modify or cancel your reservation.

Cancellation or modification (including changing the license plate) is possible up to 24 hours before the start of the reservation and is subject to the following conditions.

CANCELLATION OF RESERVATION

Case 0: If you purchased the FREE CANCEL service during booking, cancellation is always free and must be requested via email at parcheggi@aeroportoverona.it within 24 hours after the missed entry.

Case 1: Cancellation is requested within 14 days after purchase but not within the withdrawal period (14 days from the start of the booked stay). Example: Parking purchased on January 10 with entry on July 14 and cancellation requested by January 24 - cancellation is free.

Case 2: Cancellation is requested more than 14 days after purchase. Example: Parking purchased on January 10 with entry on July 14 and cancellation requested after January 24 - cancellation is subject to a 20% penalty.

Case 3: Cancellation is requested within 14 days after purchase but falls within the withdrawal period (14 days from the start of the booked stay). Example: Parking purchased on January 10 with entry on January 14 - cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before the start of the stay, after which it will not be possible. This is only possible by purchasing the free cancel option during booking.

You can review the General Contract Conditions for more details.

MODIFICATION OF RESERVATION

Modification of the reservation (entry and exit dates, change of license plate, change of parking) is always free, provided it is done at least 24 hours before the start of the booked stay.

Modification of a reservation involves a full refund of the amount paid for the modified reservation and subsequent full purchase of the new reservation at the current online rates and parking availability at that time. This means that if you modify the duration of your stay, you may pay a different amount than originally paid or may find that parking is no longer available on the new dates.

Refunds for modifications and cancellations will be made to the same payment method used (e.g. credit card) within 7 working days following the modification/cancellation.

I want to be able to request a full refund of the reservation even beyond the 24-hour limit before my missed entry into the parking lot, how can I do that?

You can purchase the FREE CANCEL option during booking, which allows you to receive a full refund of the amount paid for unused stays (Strikes, Personal Inconveniences, Program Changes, Flight Delays and Cancellations, or any other reason you do not need to inform us about). The request must be made via email within 24 hours after the start of the stay.

My flight has been canceled, can I get a refund for the parking I had booked?

Flight cancellation does not allow for exceptions to the rules governing refunds and cancellations of the reservation. To protect against parking expenses due to inconveniences, it is advisable to purchase the FREE CANCEL service during booking.

What happens if I stay in the parking lot longer than the booked time?

If your stay exceeds the booked period, you must pay an additional fee based on the standard parking rate of the booked parking lot before exiting the parking lot, using the ticket retrieved upon entry, which must be inserted into the automatic payment machines (accepting cards and cash). If you are unsure whether you have exceeded the booked parking period, you can insert the ticket into one of the automatic machines to verify the amount due: if it shows €0, it means you are still within the reserved period. However, once inserted, you have 15 minutes to exit (for Park Low Cost only: 25 minutes).

The fee for exceeding the booked time is calculated based on the standard rates displayed at the parking lot entrance, which may vary significantly from those paid online.

What do I do if the booked parking lot is occupied?

Even if the display at the entrance of the booked parking lot indicates "full" (red light or "parking full" message), your parking space is guaranteed due to the online reservation; therefore, you can still access the parking lot. If you are unable to enter, it means that the entry procedure was not completed correctly, and you will need to contact assistance (24/7) via the intercom button located on each column.

How long before and after the booked time can you enter/exit the parking lot?

For entry, the reservation is recognized from 2 hours before onward (e.g., if you booked with entry at 12 o'clock, you can access the parking lot from 10 o'clock onwards).

For exit, the reservation is always recognized if it occurs before the booked time (i.e., once you have entered the parking lot, you can exit at any time before the end of the reservation time); if the exit is after the booked time, you can exit the parking lot for free up to 2 hours after the scheduled time. After this 2-hour tolerance period, you will need to pay the difference at the automatic payment machines with cash or credit/debit cards or at the manned cash desk (Arrivals Terminal) only with credit/debit cards using the ticket retrieved upon entry.

To check whether you have exceeded the free exit period, it is advisable to insert the ticket into the automatic machines located in the Arrivals Hall of the Terminal: if the displayed amount to be paid is €0, it means you are still within the valid period of the reservation, but you will have 15 minutes to exit the parking lot (for Park Low Cost only: 25 minutes).

Can I enter and exit the parking lot as many times as I want during the booked period?

Within the booked period, you can enter and exit the parking lot only once. For example, if you booked a stay on the same day with entry at 8 am and exit at 8 pm, you cannot enter and exit the parking lot without limits between 8 am and 8 pm; once you have entered, you can exit by 8 pm, and once you have exited, the reservation will be considered used, and any subsequent attempts to access after the first will not be allowed (the system will not recognize the license plate as reserved).

SHORT TERM STAY

I need to accompany/pick up a passenger: where should I park?

Verona Airport offers two parking areas specifically for passenger pick-up or drop-off: one is called "Sosta Breve Partenze” (Short Stay Departures), located directly in front of the Departures Area of the Terminal, and the other is "Sosta Breve Arrivi” (Short Stay Arrivals), located directly in front of the Arrivals Area of the Terminal.

Depending on your needs (arrival or departure), we suggest using one of these parking areas, where you can enjoy the first 10 minutes for free, allowing you to comfortably and without charge perform passenger and baggage loading/unloading operations.

To find out about rates after the initial 10 minutes of free parking, please visit the Tariffs section of the website. The "Short Stay" parking areas cannot be reserved.

What is meant by "short term" and "long term"?

The term "short term" refers to the stop of accompanying passengers (typically from a few minutes to a couple of hours), while the term "long term" refers to the stop of passengers (typically 10 hours or more).

Parking lots dedicated to "short term" have hourly rates, while those dedicated to "long term" have daily rates or fractions of a day.

LONG TERM STAY

I am a passenger: where should I park?

Verona Valerio Catullo Airport offers various parking areas, both covered and uncovered, located at various distances from the Terminal; to analyze the various solutions and their prices, you can obtain a quote on the website and proceed with a reservation if desired. Please note: the prices refer to online rates only for booked stays.

The parking fee varies depending on the parking characteristics, time of year, advance booking period, parking capacity at the time of booking, and any ongoing promotions.

The prices for those entering without a reservation are different (usually higher: consult the rates) from those obtained by making an online reservation (obtain a quote); therefore, booking in advance is strongly recommended.

DISABLED PARKING

I am a holder of the European Parking Permit, what advantages do I have for parking?

Passengers holding the disabled permit referred to in DPR 151/2012 (the so-called Disabled Permit) are entitled to free parking in reserved spaces at all parking areas of Verona Valerio Catullo Airport. To benefit from this, you must present the original permit, along with the parking ticket retrieved upon entry and an identity document. For stays exceeding 6 hours, you must also present the flight ticket at the manned cash desk located at the Arrivals Terminal or contact assistance (24/7) using the number displayed at the cash desk.

For a smoother parking and experience, it is highly recommended to use the “Sosta Breve Partenze" (Short Stay Departures) parking area located a few steps from the Terminal (Map), and cancel the parking ticket at the Parking Cash Office (located at the Arrivals Terminal) upon return from your trip or at the end of your accompanying stay.

I am a PRM - Passenger with Reduced Mobility, but I do not have the European Parking Permit: am I entitled to parking facilities?

PRMs - Passengers with Reduced Mobility who do not have a Disabled Permit are not entitled to free parking but have access to operator call points for pickup and transport to the Terminal located in various parking areas. Consult the map and other useful information in the dedicated section of the airport's website.
